This Is What Motion Control Should Be
Created by a veteran filmmaker, the Stealth System combines intelligent design with instantly familiar tools to make motion control intuitive, flexible, and ready for everyday production.
No programming
Other systems make you think like a computer. The Stealth lets you think like a cinematographer.
There are no keyframe sequences to build, no programming sessions to schedule, no prep day dedicated to getting a move ready before your crew arrives. You perform the move with the controls in your hands, and the system captures it. Adjust speed and damping on the fly — physical knobs, no menus. If something isn’t right, fix just that axis and go again. The creative process stays uninterrupted.
Instantly familiar controls
You already know how to use the Stealth System.
Pan bars. Handwheels. Joystick. The same controls your grip crew operates every day — no new interfaces, no specialist terminology, no learning curve that eats into your shoot day. Pick up the controls and you’re already operating. That’s not an accident. It’s the whole point.
Precise repeatability
The whole point of motion control is repeatability — and the Stealth System delivers it on every axis, every time.
Record a move once and play it back precisely as many times as you need, in any combination of live and recorded axes. Effects passes, performance doubles, VFX compositing, product shots — any work that requires the camera to be in exactly the same place twice is exactly what the Stealth System was built for. Set it, shoot it, repeat it. Perfect, every time.
Intuitive recording software
If no programming sounds impossible for a motion control system, here’s how it works.
The Stealth Recording Software records every axis of movement as its own independent track — exactly like an audio multi-track recording session. Hit record, perform the move with the controls in your hands, and the software captures it. Build a complete 8-axis move in a single live pass or one axis at a time. Re-record any single track without touching the others. Reverse, loop, or run in direct return for precise repeatability. Live, fully recorded, or any blend of both — you’re always in control.
Integrated lens control
Focus, iris, and zoom aren’t afterthoughts — they’re axes.
The FIZ-1611 wireless lens control system integrates directly into the Stealth System, recording focus, iris, and zoom as their own independent tracks alongside every other axis of movement. Calibrate once per lens, then pull focus automatically on playback with rock-solid repeatability. Compatible with industry-standard 7-pin lens motors. Wireless range up to one mile. Battery life up to 18 hours. One of the smallest and lightest receivers in the industry — and it records and repeats every pull, every time.
Ultra-quiet operation
The Stealth System earns its name.
The Stealth Head uses direct-drive motors — no gears means no gear noise, and no interruption to your live sound recording. At normal production speeds, the lift and motorized dolly run quietly enough for dialogue scenes, live sound environments, and open-mic shoots. No more choosing between the shot you want and the sound you need. Motion control that doesn’t compromise your sound department is motion control that actually works on a real production.
More shots, less crew
One operator. Eight axes. Infinite repeatability.
Because the Stealth records and repeats every movement precisely, one person can execute moves that would otherwise require multiple specialized crew members. Fewer people on set means fewer variables between takes, faster turnaround between setups, more pages per day, and more creative flexibility within your day. The Stealth doesn’t replace your crew — it makes them more powerful.
Sets up in under 25 minutes
The full 8-axis Stealth System. Two grips. Under 25 minutes.
No specialist operator to fly in. No rehearsal day to schedule. No tech recon to plan cable runs. The system packs into an SUV or a van and arrives ready to build — and by the time a traditional MoCo operator has finished their safety briefing, you’re already shooting.
Carries large cinema packages
The Stealth System was built to carry real cinema cameras — not just mirrorless bodies.
A fully rigged ALEXA Mini LF, VENICE 2, or RED with a heavy prime, matte box, and FIZ-1611 lens control sits comfortably within the 50 lb payload capacity of the Stealth Head. Whatever camera your production is already using, the Stealth System can carry it. No compromises on your camera package to accommodate the rig.
12V DC or 110V AC power
Every location. No exceptions.
Run the complete Stealth System all day on a single standard 12V car battery — the kind every location unit already carries. No generator to rent, no cable runs to plan, no power scout required, no location that’s off the table. Rooftops. Fields. Moving vehicles. Basements. Remote locations with no infrastructure. If you can get there, the Stealth can shoot there. Plug into 110V AC when it’s available. The system doesn’t care either way.
Transports in an SUV
The full Stealth System — head, lift column, dolly, motor kit, controls, power station, and all accessories — loads into a large SUV or a van.
No specialty transport vehicle. No freight logistics. No advance planning around how the rig gets to location. Load it the night before, drive it yourself, unload it on arrival. The system that sets up in under 25 minutes starts that clock from the moment you open the van doors, not from when a freight company delivers it.
Industry-standard track
The Stealth System runs on industry-standard dolly track — curved or straight — the same track that’s already on your grip truck.
No proprietary rail to purchase. No additional track investment. No compatibility questions. If your grip truck carries standard dolly track, you already have everything the Stealth System needs to run. Curved track adapters coming Q3 2026, opening up curved dramatic moves on the same track you already own.
